We are thrilled to announce we have started work on Kings School Chester in the UK. O’Reilly Concrete have been contracted in by Carefoot PLC to provide the precast units for the new sports hall extension for Kings School. The project has approximately 1500m2 of precast flooring and five flights of precast stairs for two different separate stair cores. The precast units are being installed on a structural steel frame.

Installation commenced on February Wednesday 28th with O’Reilly’s fitting crew are currently installing both the ground floor and the first floor of the precast floors on site. Carefoot PLC are the main contractors on site with architects Associated Architects and Curtins are Engineers for the project.

Kings School Chester are in the process of constructing their £4.5m state-of-the-art Sports Centre. The project is planned to be completed for this coming Autumn to help cater for approximately 1000 fixtures per year in competitive sports.

The Centre will also house multi-purpose studio for classes such as Pilates, yoga, gymnastics and aerobics, a fitness gym suite with a dedicated area for ego/rowing machines and other facilities including a classroom. New changing room facilities are to be built and a new reception area will lead through to the swimming pool, new changing rooms and sports hall.
