To summarise just under 5000m2 of 200mm deep hollowcore and over 50 sets of stairs.  Order value £300k in total

Background

The project is called the Housing Partnership Programme with Wates and Cardiff City Council and will deliver 1,500 houses and apartments across Cardiff.

Breakdown consists of 600no Council homes available to rent and 900no available to purchase.

Phase 2 commences in2022 and phase 3 will be 2025

O’Reilly were chosen as its precast partners because of its early involvement and tender stage offering value engineering throughout the process at prestart and a hands on approach during the design and installation. As a result of contract wins such as our recent 5M sterling contract to design, manufacture and install the precast frame of the new 16 Storey Hilton Hotel at Heathrow T2, we are in a position to open up jobs locally in Co Cavan

Update on Hilton T2 Precast Structure

Seriously impressive 14 story hotel project at Terminal 2 in Heathrow Airport with O’Reilly Concrete installing precast walls and floors using an innovative safety installation system, supported by Compliplus who developed a bespoke online induction for the project.

O’Reilly Concrete Announce our second Lidl UK

Announcing our second Lidl UK – here’s the first 2 loads ready for dispatch today to the new Colchester Lidl UK store on Monday. This is yet another store we are supplying in the UK – designed, detailed and manufactured at our factory in Co Cavan, Ireland. All columns, beams, walls, stairs, floors, insulated sandwich wall panels will be erected and ready for the roof within 2 weeks.

The crew will erect this building in record time with excellent attention to detail and to his usual very high standard. With a number of different Lidl stores on order from contractors in the UK, we are delighted with this opportunity to build a strong relationship with Lidl UK.

We are delighted to announce this week we started work on our first LIDL store in the UK. This is a store in Northampton, designed, detailed and manufactured at our factory in Co Cavan, Ireland. All columns, beams, walls, stairs, floors, insulated sandwich wall panels will be erected and ready for the roof within 2 weeks.

Ollie Malone and his crew will erect this building in record time for a Lidl store with excellent attention to detail and to his usual very high standard. Update March 14th: Lidl Northampton Complete in 10 days during the worst storm in recent times. Great achievement by the O’Reilly Precast design team in Kingscourt and in our Bangalore office in India.
Valued engineering and planning at the early stages resulted in achieving our target installation programme of ten days.
Offsite construction enabled the main contractor 2MS to continue works on site during the arrival of the worst snow worst storm in decades. Well done to the fitting crews and the main Contractor, 2MS.

O’Reilly Concrete Precast for new sports hall extension for Kings School Chester

We are thrilled to announce we have started work on Kings School Chester in the UK. O’Reilly Concrete have been contracted in by Carefoot PLC to provide the precast units for the new sports hall extension for Kings School. The project has approximately 1500m2 of precast flooring and five flights of precast stairs for two different separate stair cores. The precast units are being installed on a structural steel frame.

Installation commenced on February Wednesday 28th with O’Reilly’s fitting crew are currently installing both the ground floor and the first floor of the precast floors on site. Carefoot PLC are the main contractors on site with  architects Associated Architects and Curtins are Engineers for the project.

Kings School Chester are in the process of constructing their £4.5m state-of-the-art Sports Centre. The project is planned to be completed for this coming Autumn to help cater for approximately 1000 fixtures per year in competitive sports.

The Centre will also house multi-purpose studio for classes such as Pilates, yoga, gymnastics and aerobics, a fitness gym suite with a dedicated area for ego/rowing machines and other facilities including a classroom. New changing room facilities are to be built and a new reception area will lead through to the swimming pool, new changing rooms and sports hall.

O’Reilly Concrete work on new National Forensic Hospital in Portrane, Dublin

O’Reilly Concrete have been contracted to work on the new National Forensic Hospital in Portrane, Dublin contracted by Rhatigan OHL Limited. O’Reilly Concrete have designed, manufactured and have begun the installation of the full precast structure, including a new innovative bespoke Bathroom Pod Design for each room.

The construction of the 170 bedrooms has now begun on the grounds of St. Ita’s Hospital, Portrane. The entire complex has been designed to meet BREEAM accreditation as a cost-effective means of bringing sustainable value to development.

The campus will facilitate segregated high and medium secure services and includes a number of shared facilities. It will include 13 hospital wards, a primary healthcare and therapy centre and administrative complex and is due for completion in the summer of 2019.

New School in Balbriggan

Take a look at some Drone footage taken at a new 750 pupil Post primary school building in Balbriggan, Dublin. We were contracted by ABM to design, manufacture & supply as part of the Rapid Build Project, our O’Reilly Concrete precast walls, columns, beams and stairs to the site. The total floor area for both projects is c.9,400 sqm. Our sister company Barleystone Paving also supplied their Department of Education approved Trinity Airtight Blocks to the project.

National Forensic Mental Health Hospital in Portrane, Dublin.

In the last few weeks we have commenced work on another exciting National Project – the new €120 million National Forensic Mental Health Hospital in Portrane, Dublin.

The development of the project is backed by Government funding and we have been contracted by JJ Rhattigans to supply and install the Precast Frames, Hollowcore Floors and a bespoke designed series of Precast Bathroom Pods to the facility.

Great Progress is being made by our precast frame & floor fitters at Ireland’s largest single school building project in Maynooth.

This new €30 million school campus project will deliver two post-primary schools catering for 1,000 pupils each, along with a sports hall.

Irelands largest single school building project is well under way in Maynooth providing school places for 2,000 secondary pupils

O’Reilly Concrete are delighted to be supplying precast concrete for the largest single school building project in the history of the State has got under way in Maynooth, Co Kildare.

A new €30 million school campus project will deliver two post-primary schools catering for 1,000 pupils each, along with a sports hall which will be shared between the schools.

The project is being delivered on behalf of the Department of Education by the Kildare and Wicklow Education and Training Board.
